Green Look for Genome Valley

Bharat Biotech in association with ICICI Knowledge Park organised a tree plantation drive at the Genome Valley at Turkapally village under Shamirpet mandal in Ranga Reddy district on saturday.

Information technology, Employment generation and bio-technology Minister B. Gopalakrishna Reddy planted sapling at the Bharat Biotech campus as part of the tree plantation drive.

Speaking on the occasion, Bharat Biotech chairman and managing director Dr. Krishna M. Ella announced that the company would continue to support the development activities in Turkapally village. He said two students scoring highest marks from the local school would be extended financial support for further studies.

The minister also visited the Bharat Biotech plant, the largest biological facility in the Asia-Pacific region.

He appreciated the efforts of the company for setting up a world class biological facility at the Genome Valley.
