Dr. Krishna M EllaHis idea of a holiday is a week's trip to the forests of Kerala to study why elephants do not develop kidney stones despite gorging on tons of green leaves. "I've not been able to take a break yet, but I'm definitely looking forward to it," he says.

That's Krishna M. Ella, the 45 year-old Chairman and Managing Director of bioproducts company Bharat Biotech International Limited, whose tweaking of genes in his laboratory outside Hyderabad has produced some much needed vaccines, till now the preserve of MNCs.
