The Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, handed over a fresh batch of Haemophilias Influenza B Conjugate Vaccine – under the brand name HibTITER, manufactured by Bharat Biotech International Ltd (BBIL) for Wyeth to V.B. Sovani, Medical Director, Wyeth Lederle Ltd, at the Biotech International 2003 here on Saturday.

Wyeth took the initiative in manufacturing HibTITER outside the United States for the first time. “Our association in manufacturing vaccine is a milestone for the entire biotechnology sector in the country,” said Krishna M. Ella, Chairman and Managing Director, BBIL, adding “Our goal is to create world class quality products, product-oriented research and new drug development.”
