Hyderabad, Jan.3: Bharat Biotech has donated vaccines and medicines worth Rs.10 lakhs to Tsunami victims. Ms. Suchitra Ella, founder Director of Bharat Biotech International Limited, handed over the vaccines and medicines to the Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy today.

Ms. Ella said in a press release here that it was vital to take measures to control diseases such as typhoid and diarrhoea by taking vaccination and oral rehydration salts (ORS).

Bharat Biotech is donating the following products: TYPBAR - A New Generation Typhoid Vaccine - 5000 vials, BIOGIT - Anti-diarrheal (Indian First Probiotic Yeast) - 5000 capsules, ZELECT - Oral Rehydration Salts with Zinc (WHO approved formula) - 10,000 sachets.
