Hyderabad, Jan24: BHARAT Biotech International Ltd (BBIL), the Hyderabad-based pharma biotech company, has obtained the approvals from the Korean Food & Drugs Administration (FDA) for its human vaccines manufacturing facility located at Genome Valley near here.

Announcing this at a press conference here on Monday, the BBIL Chairman and Managing Director, Dr Krishna M. Ella, said the approval enables the company attain a level playing field and help reposition its entry into the global markets in the sphere of injectibles.

"Bharat Biotech can now manufacture and export human vaccines to Korea, which is one of the regulated markets in the world of pharmaceuticals," Dr Ella said. Other regulated markets include the US, Europe and Japan.
