Hyderabad: Bharat Biotech, Hyderabad, has entered into an agreement with Acambis plc, a Nasdaq listed company, for manufacturing and marketing of Acambis’ ChemiriVax, an investigational vaccine against Japanese Encephalitis. Bharat Biotech will be responsible for end-stage fill/finish processing of ChimeriVax-JE at its facility in India. Once the vaccine is approved, it will market and distribute the medicine in India and neighbouring countries.
